Enrolment into the 1st and 4th grade of primary school is based on an interview with the parents and child.
The child is accompanied by their parents to the interview with the school’s expert team. This is the opportunity to gain insight into the parents’ and students’ motivation, but also the child’s psychological and physical maturity, their needs and preferences, and to present the education programme the child will attend in more detail.
Enrolment into the 1st grade
Before enrolling into Adria International School, the child must go through the testing procedure for enrolment in the 1st grade, during which the school’s expert committee determines his psychophysical condition and gives a certificate of the child’s readiness to start school. This test can be carried out in the primary school to which the belongs according to his address of residence or in our school.
Enrolment into the 4th grade
For the enrolment of students who have previously been educated abroad, it is necessary to submit a certificate of residence in the territory of the Republic of Croatia, an identity document (identity card or passport), certificates of previously completed classes and a request for recognition of the previous educational period. The application form is available on request.
If the child attends elementary school in the Republic of Croatia and would like to enroll to Adria IS, it is necessary to submit an application for transfer, which is sent to the school’s Teachers’ Council.
