Laura Kolano Stefanović
Ms. Laura Kolano brings exceptionally rich international experience to our school community. After completing her Master’s degree in Social Pedagogy at the Faculty of Education and Rehabilitation Sciences in Zagreb and gaining practical experience in Scotland working with children with autism, Ms. Laura spent seven years at an International School in Sweden. There, she built an impressive career, progressing from a teaching assistant for children with developmental difficulties, to a classroom assistant, and eventually to the role of professional associate – social pedagogue.
For more than ten years, Ms. Laura has been passionately supporting children in developing self-confidence, emotional intelligence, and positive relationships. Through tailored workshops and individual sessions, she creates a safe environment in which every child can thrive. She strongly believes in the power of collaboration and prevention, providing professional support not only to students, but also to teachers and parents.
She places special emphasis on social learning through movement—an innovative approach that enables children to express emotions through physical exploration and creativity, build confidence, and develop a deeper understanding of themselves and others.
With her dedication, warmth, and expertise, Ms. Laura has become an indispensable part of our team.
