On Tuesday, February 13, the bell ringer from Zvoneće visited us to give a lecture on their tradition. During the lecture, the children learned more about customs, symbolism and the role of the bell ringers in the local community.

Zvoneće bell ringers usually wear colorfull and richly decorated clothes and bells that have ritual significance. The lesson was interactive, allowing the children to see the equipment and clothing of the bell ringers, and they were even allowed to try playing the accordion.

This visit not only enriched the children’s knowledge of local traditions, but also provided an opportunity for direct experience and interaction with the cultural heritage of their region.
