Christopher Suprenant

Mr. Christopher demonstrates through his work that a passion for sport and technology can go hand in hand. With more than a decade of experience in international education—from Bangkok to Budapest, and now Opatija—he brings a unique combination of STEM expertise and sports mentorship.

As a Design teacher and Makerspace lead at the International School of Debrecen, Mr. Chris introduced and developed robotics as a standard project to strengthen hands-on STEM education. He taught students programming and design using Micro:Bits, while ensuring that all STEM projects aligned with IB values and subject curricula.

His talent is evident beyond the classroom as well. For five years, he worked as a swimming coach at Bangkok Patana School, mentoring high-level athletes who later went on to compete at university level around the world. He is also a diver with over 100 dives, a passionate cook who enjoys experimenting with new recipes, and a lifelong learner.
