Iva Jelušić
With Iva's effort, knowledge and experience, her students quickly understand why do we say that history life’s teacher!
Through a research approach to learning, she wants to develop students' historical thinking, understanding the concepts of history learning and the ways in which the past and the present are connected. Students observe different perspectives, confront different sides and solve problems to develop critical thinking. They analyse the causes and consequences by observing the influence of society on the individual and the individual on society so that they themselves know how to act - locally and globally!
Iva graduated in history and philosophy at the Faculty of Philosophy in Rijeka. After completing her undergraduate studies, she continued her education at the Central European University (Budapest/Vienna), where she completed her master's degree at the Department of Gender Studies and then her doctorate at the Department of History. Until now, Iva has had the opportunity to teach all ages. She is also the author and co-author of several scientific publications.
In our school, Iva teaches History and Ethics.
