The new school year has begun!

Just one year after Adria International School opened its doors in Opatija for the first time, this year we are 3 more classes and about thirty new students!
Many familiar and new faces entered our school early in the morning of September 9 under colorful umbrellas, joy and murmurs echoed in the corridor, and even the rain did not hinder our plans.
Parents and children were welcomed by the principal with a smile, along with her teachers and support team. After her speech, the teachers organized fun activities for the parents to break the ice and get to know each other better. The mayor of Opatija Fernando Kirigin also visited our school and wished our students a happy new start.
In this year, Adria International School became an IB school for classroom teaching, and this year it is a candidate for IB school through the MYP program in higher grades.
The day was full of excitement, new acquaintances and fun, both for the first graders and for the younger ones, and we are all looking forward to the new knowledge we will gain and the memories we will create together.
