The visit to the Sugar Refinery Palace

On Friday, December 1, 2023, the students of the MYP program of the Adria school, went to a field class organized in the Sugar Refinery Palace. There they had the opportunity to see a different face of Rijeka, through history and changes.
The excellent guide Daria Dadić took them through the history of industrial, military, musical, rock, and artistic Rijeka. The students enjoyed the contemporary exhibition and learned about all the changes Rijeka has undergone. That’s how they were able to see how Rijeka grew into today’s beauty where we live now. They enjoyed the exhibition, the guidance, and the interesting interactive content that spiced up their fieldwork.
