A Field Trip to Zvir Source

On November 29th our MYP students embarked on an enlightening excursion to Zvir Source, immersing themselves in exploring water origins. Positioned along the Rječina River, Zvir Source captivated with an impressive emergence of 800 liters per second, seamlessly connecting subterranean depths to the surface.
Our journey aimed to unravel the complexities of Rijeka’s water provisioning system, fostering a profound understanding of the pivotal role this source plays in sustaining the city and its environs. This immersive encounter underscored the significance of conscientious water management, imprinting a lasting awareness of environmental responsibility in our students.
