From morning arrival to afternoon activities, each day at Adria combines learning, movement, healthy meals, outdoor time and opportunities to connect. Discover what a typical school day looks like for our students.
08:00-08:30 a.m.
Students arrive and enjoy breakfast, giving them time to settle in, socialise with their classmates, and start the day in a relaxed and welcoming environment.
From 08:30 a.m.
The academic programme begins at 8:30 a.m. Lessons are engaging and inquiry-based, encouraging students to think critically, collaborate, communicate and take an active role in their learning.
Students have a longer break to relax, move, socialise and enjoy a fresh fruit snack. Our younger students also spend part of each day in outdoor learning and play, while older students enjoy time outside whenever weather conditions allow.
Learning continues through a balanced programme of academic, creative and practical experiences.
Around midday, students enjoy lunch and recess. The lunch break lasts between 30 and 60 minutes, depending on their age. Freshly prepared meals are served in our dining hall, providing a balanced and nutritious lunch in a calm, social environment.
Lessons continue during the afternoon block, with a variety of subjects, projects and collaborative learning experiences.
Around 3:00 p.m.
Students have another extended break to relax and enjoy an afternoon snack before completing the academic programme.
The regular school day finishes between 3:30 and 4:00 p.m., depending on the student’s age. Wednesday is our short day, with all students finishing at 2:00 p.m.
4:00 – 5:00 p.m.
A variety of clubs and enrichment activities are available for students who wish to stay longer. These clubs are based on students’ interests and provide opportunities to explore new skills, develop talents and enjoy learning beyond the classroom.
