A Special Visit: Camellia Workshop in Bloom

On Monday 7th of April, we were honored to welcome guests from the Association Camellia from Opatija and Parkovi Opatija, who introduced our students to the fascinating world of the camellia flower – the cherished symbol of Opatija.
Our students learned step by step how to re-plant camellias and how to care for them throughout the seasons. The workshop offered valuable insights into the importance of nurturing plants and respecting nature, perfectly aligning with our ongoing Eco-school projects. This meaningful experience deepened our understanding of the local environment, strengthened our connection with the community, and reminded us how small acts of care can grow into something truly beautiful.
