Paul Blamire

As a dedicated educator with a strong academic background in international politics, Paul brings his passion for understanding the world to Adria International School. Paul holds a bachelor’s degrees, and a PhD in International Politics. His academic career has included teaching International Politics, Global Development, and Theories of International Politics at Aberystwyth University, as well as research and teaching roles in Croatia and abroad. Having previously taught at university level, Paul is excited to bring his knowledge and experience into the IB classroom. He approaches Global Politics with patience, persistence, and care, encouraging students to think critically about the forces and processes that shape the world around them. Paul values intellectual curiosity and enjoys helping young people develop their own understanding of complex ideas. He is looking forward to being part of Adria’s caring school community, supporting students as they grow and sharing his enthusiasm for the challenges and discoveries that come with learning.
