Ema Gomaz
Ema is a Learning Support Teacher at Adria International School and a final-year pedagogy student at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Rijeka. She connected with Adria through the Early Years Programme. She continued that connection during her teaching practicum, allowing her to get to know the school community and gain valuable experience working with students in an international educational environment. In her role as a Learning Support Teacher, Ema focuses on getting to know each student, understanding their individual needs, and finding the most suitable ways to support them throughout their school day. She believes that learning support is not only about overcoming academic challenges, but also about helping students better understand themselves, their emotions, and the strategies that help them learn and feel confident. With a warm and student-centred approach, Ema aims to create a supportive environment where students feel understood, encouraged, and comfortable asking for help. She values both the small achievements and the bigger milestones that contribute to each student’s growth.
Our teachers
Adria is led by a team of experts dedicated to progress of education and care for each student and employee. Their task is to ensure optimal conditions for the school’s development and connect it both to the local and global community it is part of. On this path they are constantly learning how to be prepared for future challenges and work effectively with and for people.
