Suzana Matušan Avgustini
Suzana Matušan Avgustini is a music educator from Rijeka with nearly 20 years of experience in education. Throughout her professional career, she has taught solfège and music, led children's choirs, and conducted mixed choirs. In recognition of her dedication to teaching, she received the Primorje-Gorski Kotar County Award for Outstanding Educator in 2024.
She is a licensed Music Together Worldwide instructor and a songwriter for children. She is particularly passionate about early childhood music education, believing that children learn music best through hands-on experiences, singing, movement, rhythm, and play.
In her teaching, she focuses on encouraging creativity, self-confidence, collaboration, and freedom of expression, striving to give every child the opportunity to explore their abilities and experience the joy of making music together. Through her own initiative, SMA Music & Education, she combines music education, creativity, and performance, promoting music as an important part of children's development and a meaningful way to connect with others.
In her free time, she enjoys spending quality time with her family and her two sons.
