Ana Maria Matajčić

Professional associate - psychologist

Ana Maria has attended the study programme in psychology in Rijeka. She is currently doing research on the testing effect, trying to prove that testing of previously learned content leads to better retention than repeated learning. During her time as a student, she was working with children in playrooms, and volunteering in one association for children with developmental difficulties. She is editor and reviewer of the journal of psychology students in Rijeka. She is particularly interested in preventing virtual violence among children and creating a safe environment for the development of children’s emotional skills. She has advanced her knowledge on virtual violence and research with children at the University of Padua, where she spent several months as an exchange student. In our school, Ana Maria is primarily dedicated to providing psychological support to students and employees and offering career guidance to students, but she is also actively involved in the development of international projects and implementation of innovations in the school’s daily operations.
