Jakov Kršovnik
Mr. Jakov Kršovnik is a Croatian Language and Literature teacher who brings energy, knowledge, and a touch of journalistic flair into the classroom. As a native of Rijeka, he naturally connects language learning with exploring national and local culture and traditions, making his lessons engaging for students.
He holds a Master’s degree in Croatian and English Language from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Rijeka, and he refined his skills working as a journalist and editor at Novi list, which gave him an excellent sense of language and style. He has also taught Croatian Language and Literature at the Medical School in Rijeka, at Vladimir Gortan Primary School, and at the First Sušak Gymnasium.
When he is not in the classroom fostering a love for language, Mr. Jakov nurtures his passion for music, often spending his free time playing the guitar.
