Kristi Lena Kargić

Imagine a teacher who teaches in the morning and directs theatre productions in the evening. That is Ms. Kristi.

Her passion for teaching and theatre has developed through a rich range of experiences—from leading drama and music groups to becoming a certified Montessori teacher for both lower and upper elementary levels. With experience at the Huntsville Symphony Orchestra, Anchorage Theatre of Youth, and Footlights Community Theater, Ms. Kristi brings together education and the arts in an authentic way. She supports this approach with a strong pedagogical foundation, holding a Master’s degree in Primary Education and a certificate in teaching English as a foreign language.

In her free time, Ms. Kristi enjoys learning languages. She is currently studying Danish, German, Dutch, and Italian simultaneously on Duolingo—because why learn one language when you can learn four?
