Our team

After completing her master’s degree in Croatian Studies and Linguistics at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Zagreb, Nataša spent over a decade teaching Croatian as a foreign language at universities and language schools both in Croatia and abroad (including the Faculty of Humanities in Zagreb, the American Institute in Zagreb, the Institute of Slavic Studies in Regensburg, Volkshochschule in Wiesbaden and other). She also contributed to an international project researching Balkan spoken languages (DFG Project Clitics in the Wild) and co-authored several scientific papers and a monograph. Nataša earned her PhD in Linguistics from the Faculty of Humanities in Zagreb. Her interests are cognitive and developmental linguistics, and she integrates modern linguistic methods into her extensive teaching practice. Outside her academic pursuits, Nataša is a mother, musician, and artist. At Adria, in addition to teaching Croatian, she leads two art workshops, aiming to expand her students' horizons through both language and art.
