25/5/2024

This weekend, on the 24th and 25th of May,  the teachers of Adria International School participated in the “Inquiry and ATL in IB Environments” workshop, expertly led by Mr. Ali Hassan. The workshop commenced with an in-depth exploration of inquiry-based learning, focusing on its characteristics and various levels. Educators gained valuable insights into establishing the purposes of unit planners, planning, and assessing for learning, as well as designing effective learning environments. On the second day, the emphasis shifted to Approaches to Learning (ATL) skills. Teachers engaged in skills-based learning activities, enhancing their self-management, social, communication, and thinking skills. The sessions also addressed planning and assessing for ATL implementation. This workshop was an enjoyable experience that successfully enhanced teaching strategies and reinforced support for student-centered learning.
