On Friday, 14th of June, our EY students went on an exciting field trip to the Maritime and History Museum of the Croatian Littoral in Rijeka. During a fascinating workshop on mythical gardening, the students delved into Greek mythology by engaging in creative activities. Using brushes, paint, templates, and their vivid imaginations, they illustrated stories of the gods from Olympus onto clay vases. They then planted herbs familiar to the ancient Greeks in these beautifully decorated pots. This hands-on experience fostered their creativity and deepened their understanding of different cultures. Additionally, they enjoyed observing turtles basking in the lake, soaking up the lovely weather, which added a delightful touch to their enriching day.
