Andreja Jurković
Ms. Andreja brings a blend of youth and versatility to our school. She is a teacher of Croatian Language and Literature, while also working as an active journalist and a researcher in cognitive science.
Her professional path began working with children as an activity leader and continued through proofreading, journalism, and ultimately the classroom. Today, she interviews people, writes reviews, takes photographs, and develops students’ critical thinking through literary texts and language activities. This combination makes her lessons dynamic and closely connected to the real world.
Ms. Andreja has further developed her expertise through media literacy programs (CoachMIL) and training in working with gifted students, and she is currently expanding her knowledge through a Master’s program in Cognitive Science at the University of Rijeka.
She now uses all of this experience and knowledge to teach students not only grammar and literature, but also how language shapes the way we think.

Adria is led by a team of experts dedicated to progress of education and care for each student and employee. Their task is to ensure optimal conditions for the school’s development and connect it both to the local and global community it is part of. On this path they are constantly learning how to be prepared for future challenges and work effectively with and for people.
