Matthew Krasner
With nearly two decades of IB teaching experience, Matthew brings a love of literature, lively discussion, and a good sense of humor to the classroom.
Originally from the United States, he earned a Master’s degree in Liberal Arts from St. John’s College and began his teaching career at a community college. His international journey later took him to Poland and Italy, where he spent many years teaching within the IB programme.
His approach to English Language and Literature is built around dialogue and intellectual exploration. While drawing on years of experience, he believes that no two classes are the same and adapts his teaching to the students in front of him. His goal is to spark curiosity and help students discover the enjoyment that can come from reading, interpreting, discussing, and writing.

Adria is led by a team of experts dedicated to progress of education and care for each student and employee. Their task is to ensure optimal conditions for the school’s development and connect it both to the local and global community it is part of. On this path they are constantly learning how to be prepared for future challenges and work effectively with and for people.
