We are happy to share two upcoming competitions that may be of interest to our students.

The Immerse Education Essay Competition 2027 is open to students aged 13–18. Students can choose a topic from subjects such as Medicine, Engineering, Law, Computer Science, Psychology, Economics, English Literature and others, and write an original essay based on their chosen question.

The competition is a chance to practise research, academic writing and critical thinking while exploring a subject students may be interested in studying in the future. Up to 10 students can receive a 100% scholarship for the Academic Insights Summer School, with opportunities to study in Oxford or Cambridge. The deadline for submissions is 25 October 2026.

The second opportunity is The Wolves of Wall Street Competition, open to students in Grades 8–12 who are interested in business, finance and investing.

Over 12 weeks, students work in teams and take part in a global stock market simulation. They build and manage a virtual portfolio, research companies, develop an investment strategy and prepare a stock pitch. Students also receive weekly mentorship from Harvard student advisors.

The competition starts on 24 October 2026, with sessions held on Saturdays. The winning team receives a $1,000 prize.
