Adela Kupres
As a dedicated educator, she is a valued member of our school community, committed to creating a supportive and engaging learning environment for every student.
She graduated from the Faculty of Teacher Education at the University of Zagreb and began her career in a Montessori setting, working as student support before continuing in an after-school care programme. Her experience abroad in Norway, where she worked in a kindergarten and taught Croatian as a foreign language, further enriched her understanding of diverse learners and cultures.
After returning to Croatia, she joined Adria International School, where she continues to grow professionally. In her work, she emphasizes learning through experience and encourages students to connect their knowledge with everyday life, fostering independence, responsibility, and empathy.
She values a simple and balanced lifestyle and enjoys spending time with animals, especially her French bulldog.

Adria is led by a team of experts dedicated to progress of education and care for each student and employee. Their task is to ensure optimal conditions for the school’s development and connect it both to the local and global community it is part of. On this path they are constantly learning how to be prepared for future challenges and work effectively with and for people.
